Yesterday, November 23rd, took place at ELA Espacio Luanda Arte the final of TEXTANG II Challenge.
The event’s theme was Kings and Queens of Africa, with a presentation by Rose Palhares – ambassador of Textang II – and as a jury we had Miss Angola Universe 2023 – Bárbara Coimbra – and historian Isilda Coelho.
The event began with the parade of looks developed by the finalist designers with Textang II fabrics, certificates of participation were handed out by the Director of Textang II – Hiroshi Yamamoto.
The winner of the first edition is the designer Alda Duarte, who received her certificate by the Executive Director of the ALCAAL Angola Group Ricardo Rebelo.
Designer Jocelina Montenegro came in second place.
