On March 12, 2024, Alcaal, chaired by Dr. Jorge do Amaral, received a visit from the World President of Marubeni, Mr. Masumi Kakinoki, who purposely traveled to Luanda, to gain better knowledge of the group’s operations
Mr. Masumi Kakinoki was accompanied by Mr. Yusuke Yamamoto, Responsible for the Marubeni Operation in Africa and Messrs. Koichi Fukunishi and Katsuhito Yamaguchii, Responsible for the Operation in Angola.
The group visited Textang and the group’s offices in Alvalade, strengthening collaboration ties.
Marubeni and Alcaal are jointly developing a forestry exploration project in the provinces of Huambo and Bié.
